Introduction

During an anxious moment, I came across Wysa while seeking solutions to calm my mind.,The app’s blue penguin, instantly piqued my interest, prompting me to download it. Upon opening the app, I was welcomed by Wysa, a chatbot.

What appealed to me the most was the fact that I didn’t have to provide my email, phone number, or even my real name to get started; a nickname was all that was required.

Interacting with Wysa, I had my reservation initially because its concepts of taking to a bot. BUT, I was pleasantly surprised by the empathy and understanding it shows. It makes me feel like my feelings are being heard and understood, giving me a safe space to express myself without fear of judgment.
